Productos Lux, S.A. or PROLUXSA as is known commercially, is a manufacturing firm founded by the panamanian entrepreneur and biochemist Maximo Gallardo in 1964. The main plant is located in Panama City and currently processes: natural distilled vinegar, wine vinegars, sauces for seasoning (Soy, Worcestershire, Creole and marinade seasonings), hot sauces, 100% pure juices and vanilla essence.

PROLUXSA also operates a preserved canned foods plant located in the City of David, Chiriqui,which processes condensed soups, beans, vegetables and fruits. In addition we have a plant for producing disinfectant cleaners and detergents in Panama.

Our company also has its own distribution network for our brands and imported brands that are marketed through our distribution centers located in the cities of Panama, David, Aguadulce, and San Jose, Costa Rica.

PROLUXSA owns the biggest processing plant of vinegar in Central America and the Caribbean. From Panama we supply the domestic industry and the export market with this important raw material that is used in the industrial preservation of food like mayonnaise, ketchup, sauces and seasonings.
